Marianne just loved being a law librarian, and she was well known through out the local, regional and national law library communities as a leader in cutting edge faculty services. She had exacting standards when it came to providing reference service to faculty and students, and she expected and exacted that same level of service of everyone around her. I will remember Marianne for her dedication to her profession and to the ASU College of Law as well as for her enthusiasm and humor. I will miss her every day.

Marianne was a great friend to the Office of Communications. Our office was just two doors down from hers, and she often would pop in to share a good story or to report that she’d performed yet another miracle for us and had found something that we’d requested, usually just moments before. We loved talking about our brilliant sons, and laughing about various goings-on at the law school. But when a faculty member or student needed her, she was ALL business, and we took second fiddle, just as it should have been. I miss her.
